Requirements:

Read all note materials..."Cold War Events" & Cold War Terms...plus
the Cold War reading packet that traces the Cold War from 1945-1989.
YOU MAY USE TEXTBOOK AND OTHER OUTSIDE SOURCES TO HELP YOU CHECK OUT THE NEW LINK: THE PRICE OF FREEDOM: Americans at War...go to Cold War exhibit
A. Brainstorm a "central image" as your illustration...find a groovy pic to put on your paper.
B. Brainstorm/use 10 cold war terms/people/events to help identify and support your image.
C. Provide three specific explanations as to why your simile is like the Cold War "Because..."
D.
Using your reading source provide specific and detailed explanations as
to how/why the U.S. should be praised for its efforts in fighting the
Cold War for each decade! This will require you to do some research and
understanding on your own... The Cold War is a theme throughout the 50
years following WWII!
Highest Marks will be awarded to quality in effort...typed, specific COWBELL... and sophisticated analysis.

Crisis #1: The Berlin Blockade of 1948. How did you do???

cut-n-paste activity on the Iron Curtain of Europe and the Berlin
Airlift...you will actually decide what happened!
We then move to Cold War Crisis #2: The Korean Conflict.
