HERE IS WHATSSUP!

Today...Wednesday, Oct. 14 all students worked on the worksheet "The Declaration vs. The Gettysburg Address" using the textbook to locate answers...THIS IS DUE MONDAY, OCT. 19 and is worth 20 Points.  IN ADDITION: You must put the Gettysburg Address in your own words from the Gettysburg Address Interactive NB thing we glued in two days ago in class.  This will also be done by Monday...I will walk down the rows and look...10 points for completion!  Your version should be so simple a 1st Grader can understand it...follow the same paragraph structure as good ol' Abe did!

On Monday I will pass back all tests...NB's are graded, and those who were present today, picked them up.  FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MISSED ANYTHING ON THE "ALL OR NOTHING" 50 POINT SECTION OF THE TEST...YOU MAY HAVE ONE MORE CHANCE TOR REDEEM YOURSELF.

YOU MAY COME IN AN TAKE THE NECESSARY PAGE OVER AGAIN...BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL, LUNCH.  YOU HAVE UNTIL NEXT FRIDAY!

MONDAY WE WILL BE READING YOUR GETTYSBURG ADDRESSES OUTSIDE IN A HUDDLE!  THEN PREPARE FOR THE NEXT UNIT:

BLOCK SCHEDULE NEXT TUES/WED.  WE WILL WATCH AMERICA: THE STORY OF US...CIVIL WAR AND WESTWARD (PUTTING US CLOSE TO 1900!

CHECK POWER SCHOOL!  WATCH YOUR ABSENCES...ATTENDANCE MATTERS...AND THERE ARE SIGNS OF CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM!!!
